Re: Looking For People In The Uk

I am retired so I can make any day. However, since I would be traveling to Birmingham International station by train, Sunday is not a particularly good day to travel as the timetable will have fewer and slower trains.

As a group of strangers, how do we recognise each other?

Re: Looking For People In The Uk

Not quite the UK - across the sea in Ireland.

If this meet can be within striking distance of an airport, I'll try to come to.

One possible meeting place could be Birminham International station. It is linked to Birmingham Airport and there is ample parking nearby with good links to the ...

Re: Looking For People In The Uk

If possible, I should prefer that the venue is within walking distance of a main-line station. I live in the south-west.

Re: Looking For People In The Uk

To all members in the UK

I am thinking of pushing the boat out- well someone has to make the first move!- and I am thinking of booking a suitable venue for a meeting most likely in the Midland area as it is most central. I need to get over my recent illness first, but I would suggest a date in ...

Thefraj on "This Morning"

This morning I watched Thefraj on a regular daily TV program, "This Morning", that goes out on a commercial channel ITV1. This is a prime time slot going out in the middle of the morning.

Thefraj was interviewed by the regular presenters, Philip Schofield and Fern Fritton. I have to say that the ...

Re: Looking For People In The Uk

Wow, I am shocked that it took so long for someone to take positive action to safeguard your health.

OK. I only told part of the story. I have told much more on earlier postings to this Archive.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December 2001. A bone scan was performed early in January ...

Re: Looking For People In The Uk

There are a LOT of you folks from the UK. Just read the posts, and check profiles.

And me also. I was castrated in September 2003 by a fully qualified urological surgeon in a private hospital in southern England. The cost of the surgery was £1,600 and was paid for by my medical insurance ...

Re: Overheating: Life as a Eunuch

Yesterday, September 22, was the third anniversary of my surgical castration. For 18 months prior to surgery I was on drugs to lower my testosterone levels as part of my treatment for prostate cancer.

Since my castration, I have not been on hormonal drugs of any kind.

I do continue to have "hot ...

Re: One Year Later

It is good to read of your experience.

On September 22 of this year, it will be three years since I was surgically castrated. I have not taken any drugs of any kind. I have experienced the joy of being a eunuch unnmodified by any hormones but only the absence of testosterone. So I can continuje to ...

Anyway my main concern with castration is the cognitive loss, but unfortunately I can not find enough material on the matter.

I hear that spatial intelligence and short term memory decline, but to what degree?

Re: Two years a eunuch

I must admit I'm surprised at the lack of antibiotics - especially with the state of the NHS at the moment! (all the reports we hear of 'superbugs', etc).

The problem with infections, such as MRSA - the so-called superbug - is that many hospitals simply are not clean. I was in a private ...

Two years a eunuch

It is just two years ago today that I was castrated. I was very fortunate. The procedure was carried out by a urological surgeon in a proper surgical facility in a private hospital in southern England.

I did post a description of my experience to the EA at the time. The surgery was carried out ...

Re: Advice

Hi

I've been considering being castrated for a number of years now. My main motives for going for this is to be able to control my libido and for the calm state that I believe I would experience. Does anyone know anywhere I can obtain evidence that this would be the likely affect for me to show ...

Re: The Deed is Done!

The last just pushed me hard for over a year to make sure what I was asking was what I wanted. It was very frustrating. I am glad I kept after him. It is great to be free of the ache!

Just because medicine has gone 'modern' doesn't mean it is any better.

I agree. I saw my urologist for over a ...

Re: The Deed is Done!

I was unconcious for my surgery

I do wish I had never done it. I played with my balls for 40 years and now I don't have them to play with. Now I do feel blonde, dah.

Calm? no But I do find myself dreading doing things I find unpleasant more.

I'd just say lazier. Not really depressed, but, not ...

HI, All,

Finally the deed has been done. I had my bi-lateral orchiectomy on July 14th for painful non-functioning testicles. I have been trying for over two years! It was so amazing to wake up and not have the ache in my groin! Once I get the swelling down and the surgery pain is gone, I should ...
