Like deja vu all over again.
I'd guess over a 90% reduction and no word in the CP.

(1) Block negative reputation but allow positive reputation.
(2) Include an automatic signature of the poster for all reputation hits.
(3) Close the Political and Deep Dark Cellar forums.

NO
Third point - deep dark cellar and political forum are like a.... let's say a containment area. If it will be closed, political threads will spread like a diseaseon the whole forum. It is either contained, controlled and quarantined in one place, or it will be all over.

I found it very useful to get individual feedback, both positive and negative from readers, that they might not want to post publicly. Were I designing the system, reputation points, positive or negative would require both a comment and a signature. It's a little frustrating to get a negative reputation hit without any explanation of what the reader didn't like.
